They look like they stick out past the qtr panal. Can you get a pic from the rear to see how far if any it stick's out? If Paul come's to Jalapeno's in the Camaro tomorrow I will park beside him and you'll see why I think they are to wide. I think I'm going to try the new 295/55-15, but the 275's do look great on there too. I haven't really decided yet but I'll have a little longer to think about it now, I have a few thing's I need to do to it first. :D

man it has been about a year since I got that pic but I will try, our cars are odd in that a wheel/tire can fit to the edge of the fender on top and stick way out when you look from the rear. I am working a Mickey deal now let me know what you ave seen the 295/55 for, also what gear are you running? the 295 is almost 28" tall

I sure hope you get that Mickey deal worked out. The 295/55(3755R) is listed at 27.8x10.9 at Summit and Jeg's but Jason Molten from M/T say's it's 27.9x10.8, all of them say it's a 12" section width on a 9.5" wheel. And they are priced about $205 everywhere that I've found them. I'm running a 275/60 right now and I love them, I wish that I would have changes wheel's and tire's when I first got it now. The car seem's to like them too, the speedo is only 2mph off now and it ride's so much better and it feel's like it pull's a little harder too. The next time I go to the track I'm takeing the Cobra rear's and I'm going to do back to back run's with the 26" and 28" tire's and see just how much difference there really is. I know there is a hell of a difference in weight, I haven't weighed them yet but I'm going to. Are you going tonight? If so you'll see it. Oh and I have 3.73's, I may try some 3.55's or 3.27's later after I get everything else sorted out.

295/55-15 Mickeys look like $195 each to your door right now. Going to a taller tire you would want a lower gear ( 4.10 maybe even 4.30).

That depends on how much power you make and what your plans are for the car, track or street...... But you are right, a taller tire will take some gear out of it.....

So as some of you know my fuel pump went out the day after me and Palmer got back from mexico. I'm repacing it now but I have a question. The directions say to cut the old plug off and crimp the new one on, wouldn't it be better to solder the new one together? I've crimped them with butt connecters before with no problems but I know that a soldered connection is better. Which way would you do it?

Solder with heat shrink ( <- optional)is better. However a crimped butt connetector will do the job just fine. I guess it just depends on your personal choice. It's not like it can be seen or anything, just so long as it stays together. I've done it both ways with the exact same results.

Sorry Sam but this one's probably getting soldered and heat shrinked. I can't get one of the line's loose to change it. Neither of the tool's that I have fit's it. :x I'm going to pick up a new tool tomorrow and finish it up hopefully. :D
