So I am on the way home from Helen yesterday and come up on this brand new Red w/ White stripes Ford GT and a Lexus IS 350 that looked modded somewhat. I was on the 400 around Alpharetta and saw them come on. So of course I get on it a touch to go look at the Ford GT who is now sitting beside the IS350. What I was guessing was that the IS was for some reason messing with the GT. Well I come to the left of the Lexus and the GT is on the right, neither of them see me apparently. I hear the GT downshift and the IS takes off as well, so I throw to 3rd and go. I wish I had a camera out to take a pic of the IS driver's expression as the GT and I bracket him on each side and just leave him sitting still. Of course, at the same time the GT is walking away from me, but not nearly as hard as we left the Lexus...lmao. I catch up to the GT and get beside him and give the guy a thumbs up. He does the same with a big grin and then gets on it a leaves. I want to have that car's baby!....lol

This would be more exciting it was a GT GT and not a Mustang GT, lol

Well, it was the newer model of the series is what I meant...lol. The original was a 500hp setup and the newer models are at 550hp. It is supposed to be the same motor that is in my Shelby, but I know the block is a little different cause the GT has a dry sump oil system. The cams are more aggressive in the Ford GT as well.

Yeah it was only produced for 2005 and 2006 so you are right Nick. I thought it was produced for a little bit longer than that. The block is all aluminum as well, and the cams have more duration and lift then mine.
